White Bean Dip or Sauce
An alternative to hummus. I use it for tortilla chip dip, vegetable dip, spaghetti sauce, pizza sauce, etc.
- 1 can White kidney beans (540mL)
- 1 can Artichoke hearts (398mL)
- 1/4 cup Oil of choice (I use grapeseed oil - can use olive oil, avocado oil, etc.)
- 1/4 cup Tahini
- 1-2 Tbsp Apple cider vinegar (or lemon juice)
- 1/4 to 1/2 tsp Himalayan rock salt
- Herbs of choice to taste (basil, chives, dill, etc.)
Add the oil, tahini, salt, and apple cider vinegar to high powered blender or food processor.
Drain and rinse can of white kidney beans and add them to high powered blender or food processor.
Drain and rinse can of artichoke hearts and add them to high powered blender or food processor.
Add herbs you want to use.
Blend and puree until smooth.
