White Bean Dip

White Bean Dip or Sauce

An alternative to hummus. I use it for tortilla chip dip, vegetable dip, spaghetti sauce, pizza sauce, etc.

Equipment

  • 1 High speed blender or food processor

Ingredients
  

  • 1 can White kidney beans (540mL)
  • 1 can Artichoke hearts (398mL)
  • 1/4 cup Oil of choice (I use grapeseed oil - can use olive oil, avocado oil, etc.)
  • 1/4 cup Tahini
  • 1-2 Tbsp Apple cider vinegar (or lemon juice)
  • 1/4 to 1/2 tsp Himalayan rock salt
  • Herbs of choice to taste (basil, chives, dill, etc.)

Instructions
 

  • Add the oil, tahini, salt, and apple cider vinegar to high powered blender or food processor.
  • Drain and rinse can of white kidney beans and add them to high powered blender or food processor.
  • Drain and rinse can of artichoke hearts and add them to high powered blender or food processor.
  • Add herbs you want to use.
  • Blend and puree until smooth.
